I don't like thinking of proper garage, 2-step or future-garage as being very rigid in it's conventions. Future Bass drums are always a bit more difficult as they are quite versatile. Sometimes you hear more Hip-Hop influenced drums. Other times you hear massive, almost orchestral drums, and from time to time, you even come across very punchy and synthetic drums.
